Unifrog
Unifrog is an essential tool for all students from Year 7 to Year 11. It helps you identify your skills and interests and provides feedback to the school so we can tailor opportunities, activities, and visitors to you. Older students can log work experience, complete virtual placements, and explore and apply for college courses.
Unifrog includes tasks that once complete to 100% will result in you being entered into an Amazon voucher draw that we will do in Assembly. Alongside being able to take a dive into a wide range of careers and explore a plethora of college courses, throughout the year, you’ll also be sent after-school courses giving insight into a wide range of careers—opportunities not available anywhere else.
There is a dedicated Unifrog section on the careers page of our website with the link and helpful guides to make the most of the platform throughout your time at Cansfield. Just login with your school email and away you go.
A Guide to Careers
We’ve included The Parents’ Guide to Careers because it’s helpful for both you and your parents. It gives a clear look at the different paths you can take after Year 11, like A-Levels, T-Levels, and BTECs (V-Levels from 2027), as well as apprenticeships and other options. Looking through it together can help you understand what each pathway involves, what skills you’ll develop, and where it could take you—making it easier to plan your next steps with confidence.
